Taurus Rising: how the world sees you

Your first impression

You come across as calm, capable and grounded. People tend to trust you quickly and assume you have it together, sometimes more than you feel you do.

How you approach new situations

In new situations you tend to observe first and commit slowly. Once you've decided you're in, you're steady and hard to shake.

How you come across in conversation

You usually don't need to fill every silence. You prefer conversations that feel calm, useful, and genuine. When you finally say something strongly, people often realize you've probably been thinking about it for much longer than they knew.

Your chart ruler: Venus

The planet that rules your Rising sign is called your chart ruler. For Taurus Rising that's Venus. The sign and house it was in at your birth add a lot of detail to how your Taurus Rising plays out, which is why two people with the same Rising sign can still feel very different.

What people misread about Taurus Rising

Being slow to change doesn't automatically mean you're lazy or stubborn for no reason. You usually want to know that the new thing is actually better before abandoning something that already works.
